Pancares Data Management

Pancares is a Diabetes Data Management Platform that integrates with the following medical devices, distributed by Homemed (Pty) Ltd in South Africa:

1. LinX CGM
2. AiDEX CGM
3. Equil Insulin Patch Pump

Pancares is a website platform that may be accessed on any device. Integration of CGM data with other relevant information, such as insulin dosage, food intake, and physical activity, helps the device user and their healthcare team gain a comprehensive view of glycaemic patterns, leading to more informed treatment decisions and personalised care.

The device user may register a Personal Account and share their data with family and loved ones. They may also provide access to their healthcare professional so that CGM data can be viewed remotely to assist in diabetes management.

A CGM report may be generated in the Personal Account and shared with their healthcare team.

The healthcare professional may register a Clinician Account for the practice. Once a patient's account is created, the healthcare professional sends an invite to the patient's email address (used to register their Personal Account). The patient will receive an email to accept the invitation. The healthcare team will be able to view the real-time CGM data remotely and generate reports in order to assist in therapy adjustments.
